This will have to be second occassionally. Today was one of those days. The answers to your questions are similar to what Seedyrom says ... 1) The setup has been tested in Florida
2) It works better than stock because the fan shroud covers more radiator area and the fan is better than stock
3) Ash doesn't support electric fans unless it has the opportunity to cover the entire radiator - might as well stay with stock
4) You make the decision if it is applicable to your needs given your area
Ash ran the setup on his car and auto crossed it. He also monitored the temperature. That being said, I also believe that he had the electric water pump running also.
I don't have anymore "facts" then the ones mentioned above and can't speak to it since I don't have the setup on my car. The project Z that I am building will have this setup and I will be datalogging temperature as well as other items when that time comes.
